3 Bell
2 Matt Carr
0.5 Grover and Tarrant

Pav would have probably been in the votes if he had kicked that relatively easy shot in the final quarter. We are still relying on the same names in tight games.

The form of Hasleby and Tarrant was encouraging.

Mundy may have started to believe the hype, too busy getting cheap possessions and doesn't man up or give a contest in the air. Had a crap finals series and his spot should be (but probably won't be) in jeopardy when Johnson and Black return, who both play that half back sweeping role better.

5..Sandilands
4..Pavlich
3..Grover
2..Tarrant
1..McPharlin ok mostly

Dunno where Headland was hiding.
Poor skills/decision making all round on the run trying to find a target.
Hopeless in the clearances early on considering Sandi was doing pretty good with his supply.
Gave away some stupid free kicks.

5. Sandilands - dominant
4. Haselby - great around stoppages and looks to be back to close to his best:)
3. Tarrant - great leads and kicking
2. Pavlich - unbelievable goal, plus the ussual
1. grover - great job on Loyd

5 Sandilands- What an effort
4 Haselby- Awesome to see him in such great form
3 Grover- Best game since his return
2 Pavlich- Great as usual
1 Tarrant- Working well with Pav already.

Wasn't our worst today but his woeful kick about a minute after Pav's miss summed up his lackadaisical attitude.

5 Tarrant - Great goals, helped set up 3?
4 Sandilands - Great touch on the ball, big fitness tank... ****ty midfielders to give it to
3 Pav - Missed a crucial goal ... but fantastic anyhow
2 Grover - Thought he played well on "drops to the ground" Lloyd
1 Hasleby - Showing he might be back soon

5 Sandilands - absolutely dominant in the middle.
4 Hasleby - great to see him returning to form.
3 Tarrant - great focal point up forward. Contested well, good goals and combined well with Pav.
2 Pav - usual polished game. That miss at the end was a real killer though.
1 = Grover - great job on Lloyd considering every other Bombers forward kicked goals at will
1 = Bell - was easily heading for best on ground in the 1st quarter but was quieter after that.

I thought Dessie was pretty good too and McPharlin played well as usual down back.

???

17 posessions. Looks like he was hiding where the ball was.

1 free kick for, 0 against. Was that a point regarding Headland's game? Or the teams? As much as the free kicks killed us and were soft, some of them we re stupid. Gilmore pushing Johnson after the makr, Hayden's 50mtr.

I think Headland was probably in the best 6 for me today. Should have kicked that goal, but generally his skills were good, and definitely above the average skill level of the playing group today.

Last week he got 5 tackles, this week 1. Bombers had 44 tackles to our 26, which is something that we need to improve, providing more pressure on the ball carrier.

Are you sure on that?
I thought he had zero tackles last week but was still good.

He was serviceable today did some good passes.

Still doesn't do enough Gav and certainly not in our top six. When we dominate out of the centre he should be looking at 25+ possessions and a couple of goals.

With Farmer, Black, Peake and Johnson missing next week we need someone with the flair of Dessie to have a big impact.

1. Sandilands -Dominant in the middle
2. Pav -Good lead and creative in the contest
3. Tazza -scored goals and set up a few as well
4. Hasebly-Our best midfielder
5. M.Carr-Impressed by his effort today went okay with his disposal

5.. 211 (worked out how to side-step the early jump with devestating results)
4. Pav (in spite of his couple of bad misses)
3. Hase (feels good to name him in our best players again)
2. Tarrant (made the most of his opportunities)
1. Bell (in spite of his fade out)

5 Sandilands
4 Hasleby
3 Tarrant
2 Pavlich
1 Grover

WORST ON GROUND;
3 Parker
2 Gilmore
1 Duffield

5. Bell
4. Pavlich
3. Sandi
2. Tarrant
1. Grover

Hard to fnd a top 5. Headland and MacManus didn't have great games but more is expected of them. The don't deserve the scrutiny though.

Mundy, Hayden, Parker, McPharlin and Walker have been part of a backline that has had 120+ points kicked against them in consecutive weeks. They've been pantsed. That's not Headland's fault.

5 : Haze ...Great to see him firing again.
4 : Sandi
3 : Taz
2 : Pav
1 : Bell
