5- Collins - great impact despite mistakes. A real player.
4- Murphy - hard tagged, below match fitness and still powered on to lead us to victory. Superstar Rolls Royce.
3- Yarran - finally got caught once but bloody hell he can go!
2- Scotland - probably a little harsh being this low honestly
1- McLean - meat and potatoes, all 29 possies of it and half dozen tackles. Can't complain with that.

BYP- Bell

5. Collins - T60's pride & joy. Exceptional skills today, couple of stuff-ups, but had it 30 odd times. Did real good.
4. Yarran - all sorts of wonderful
3. Scotland - hard as a rock
2. Garlett - always looked dangerous, caused mayhem all night, very clean with the pill. Had a heap of it.
1. Bell - Boy goes at the footy like a bull, no-one gets in his way.

5. Collins- disposal can improve but he was excellent tonight.
4. Yarran- His run is just amazing to watch. He may not have been our second best player but he stood out most to me.
3. Scotland- just keeps on keeping on. best thing to come out of collingwood, ever!
2. Garlett- kicked goals early and i thought he was crucial to us coming back when he moved into the centre. excellent clearance work.
1. McLean/ Murphy- can't split them, two very different games but both important.

BYP- Bell just, his attack on the ball in the first half was excellent. McInnes was just as good in the second half.

5. Scotland (Very steady & ruled the backline. Knows where to run, and was everywhere when needed)
4. Collins (Best game for the club. Has finally found a place in side, and is improving with confidence.)
3. Garlett (Lively around the forward line. Maybe he's coming out of his slump?)
2. McLean (While he continues to play well, he'lll keep his place in side)
1. Carrazzo ( Nullified Boyd so that he was not as damaging as usual. Picked up disposals himself)

Best Young Player.. Bell (Looks like he'll be a player. Hard at it, that's what we want)

5. Collins - so creative, used the ball well & of course kicked 3 very handy goals
4. McLean - was our best midfielder tonight & ran out the game so well
3. Betts - any player who is involved in 5 goals in a close game, has had a very good game
2. Scotland - got better as the game went on & was a steadying influence when the game was on the line
1. Yarran - his run from defence totally smashed open any zones the Bulldogs had set up, getting back to his best

BYP - McInnes - this kid has so much poise for one so young, when moved up forward provided a handy link-up for our defenders
