Being there tonight I thought I might add my 2 cents in..

5. Richo - 5.2 in a great display, held his nerve and kicked through the ball! (Loved when he got in Fev's ear when he was taking a shot)

4. Pettifer - Stood up when needed, did a great job without being spectacular. Big fan of Kayne.

3. Foley - Will find it harder than last year to get the ball but against Carlton got plenty and used it well.

2. Thursfield - Wow, I was there for the St. Kilda game where he slaughtered Reiwoldt before doing his knee and was impressed, his gonna be a great servant for the club.

1. King - If everyone tried as hard as him and gave as much of themselves to the contest as this little bloke you would never lose, love him!

5. Richo - So good, so tough, so competitive, 5 goals a superb effort.

4. Jake King - IMO it was him who brought us back from the brink of death, 2nd, 3rd, 4th tries and just never gave up, the most nuggety and tough player to come to Richmond in years!

3. Nathan Foley - Set us up well in the middle, fell back a bit later in the game but was very solid, will enjoy having Cogs back.

2. Richard Tambling - We could have seen the rise of Tambling tonight, chased hard, went in head first, kicked an important goal, everything people have been saying he needs to do he did tonight!

1. Will Thursfield - Looked out of it in the first Quarter, was slow, lazy and looked very bored, but brought himself right back and kept the potentially devastating Fev to 2 goals, will be a great FB for many years.

Unlucky Foley, Thursfield.

Jordy, Tambling played well when the team was on top but the others keep us in the game as well dominated the second half.

Honourable mentions to Johnson (still needs to improve his kicking). Shulz played in a few postions and roles and did some great things all game. Raines great endevour.

Also to the big man in waiting Cleve Hughes showed in that game a few signs that not only could he make the AFL grade but be a bloody good player at that.

And Howat although he didn't dominate, looked to delivery into the corridor more and took some hard stuff and kept coming back for more.

I tell you lads it wasn't clean, it wasn't polished but there was endevour, determination and just a little bit of fire and Rex Hunt in the bellies of the Tiger boys. And it was bloody good to see.

Keep it up Tiges.

have to agree with you here. If they can play like that most weeks, we'll have the opportunity to win plenty of games...and do plenty of damage.

I hope we're slowly getting back to the aggression & commitment & ferocity of the Tigers of old. Bring back the brutality & watch this club soar back to the pinnacle.

Nothing can stop RFC & our massive support when we play brutal, uncompromising footy :thumbsu:
