5. Scotland
4. Simpson
3. Yarran
2. Jamison
1. Robinson

Edit: Changed my mind, Russel got thrown out.

I'd only give 1, possibly 2 votes tonight

Simpson and Yarran

5. Simpson
4. Scotland
3. Jamison
2. Lucas
1. Armfield

Scotland/Simspon/Armfield seemed to really bleed for the jumper tonight, although Armfield is rusty at the moment his desperation and hunger is what I crave from all our players.

Lucas had a great debut and did some good things (and a couple bad).

This week I'm hoping we can give -ve votes as well and deduct those points from the current tally.

-5. Houlihan (the princess returns)
-4. Gibbs (where the bloody hell are you?)
-3. Betts (don't always try to be cute.. old fashioned footy works too).
-2. Carazzo (your disposal sickened me tonight).
-1. Murphy (being a No1 pick doesn't automatically mean you don't have to work 100% all the time).

This was difficult but...
5. Betts - just because it was his 100th but played ok nonetheless
4. Jamison - tried in his game as captain
3. Lucas - a good debut
2. Army - was one of the only ones who looked like they were trying
1. Robinson - see Army

Yarran was unlucky. Would have been in the mix if that holding the ball decision was called:eek:

Your not being fair on Murph - make sure you watch it again to see how hard he was trying to break Welsh's tag. It is bloody hard when the other supposed midfield guns are nowhere to be seen or are sitting in the stand

If anyone should have some votes removed, it's McLean

I said it was hard.

Yeah fair enough.

This is the list I've cobbled together:

5. Simpson - tried to take the game on occasionally and kicked two goals on his right boot.
4. Scotland - good again, having an excellent year.
3. Jamison - was too good in most one-on-one contests and battled away admirably down back. Wasn't really obviously to blame for any goals.
2. Armfield - people may disagree given his iffy disposal but I thought his attack and intensity were fantastic tonight. Put his body on the line in a couple of critical contests when he was badly out of position and managed to win the footy or at least break even. Never gave up.
1. Lucas - did a lot of nice things on debut - looks a pretty polished complete sort of player. Good both inside the contest and out wide.

Carrazzo's disposal was poor (again) but he was one of the few midfielders that actually ran and spread from the contest to provide options on the wings.

Russell was also ok but some critical fumbles and a couple of shanks cost him.

I'm so depressed.

5 Ratten
4 Riley
3 Lappin
2 Montgomery
1 mediumsizered

Ripped off. I think I should at least be ahead of Monty, if not Lappin as well.

As to my votes, it was very difficult to find good players tonight, but here we go:

5. Simpson - one of the few who gave a damn tonight.
4. Betts - our only forward target on the night, who also set up a couple of goals for his teammates.
3. Murphy - worked his way into the game, although could not totally break his tag.
2. Lucas - a handy debut by Kane, was a little bit nervous early on, but did enough to indicate he will make the grade.
1. Yarran - one of very few who actually looked like making something happen.
