5 Bird
4 Goodes
3 Kennedy

Sure you dont want to reneg and give Goodesy the 5 Bedford ? He was good on the weekend but 3rd best at best. Was actually talking to your mad mate at the North Footscray game on Saturday and he had me in fits about you and Goodes and Saddington.Love to see you and him watching the Swans together ! Ha Ha. Having said that he is a harsh judge. Imagine playing under him ! :D

People can vote however they want. Richards game wasn't perfect and there are quite a few players who deserve some but wont get any, we had too many good players this week, what a terrible problem :). He was brilliant against buddy but was beaten too easily in a few contests against Roughead.

I don't want to interfere in how people vote but were now saying Richards was brilliant against Franklin but beaten too easily against Roughead,

SUPER TED matched up on two super forwards. He's awesome.

Ted never lined up on Roughead and if you saw him being out marked by him it was because Richards left Franklin to cover.

Are you trolling your own team's board?
Read my post on this thread , it is number 56, it might help you understand where i'm coming from and for what its worth on SEN radio tonight they were just singing the praises of Ted's job on Buddy. And just another one , Shaws shut downs in the last 2 weeks have been nearly as good, so if you and Stat want to call me a troll, go for it.

What game were you watching ? Grundy rag dolled and Johnson once or twice outmarked by Roughead.Richards was at no stage directly opposed to Roughead from my recollection.Your right though people can, and do vote how they want as some of the votes posted on here are mindboggling. Bedford knows how to flog a dead horse thats for sure but i agree with him on Ted's game on the weekend.

How many times to i have to say it, the defenders get no praise, all we vote for is the mids like the umps. Now i understand the coaches votes to some degree.

Of our back 6, Malceski, Richards & Johnson are all on the POTY leaderboard, ahead for example of Adam Goodes.

People presumably vote for who they think performed best on the day/had the most influence on the result. Because a certain player didn't get votes from some posters doesn't indicate anything other than they thought 5 other players were more voteworthy.

As for the coaches votes, the last defender to win the Swans B&F was Schauble back in 2000.

I thought Richards had a good game on Buddy, but was he was helped by the fact that Franklin played up around the 50m arc and beyond for much of the game. I'd suggest it is easier to defend against Buddy in that part of the ground rather than if he were leading out one on one from the goalsquare.

In the end I gave my final vote to Seaby rather than Ted.
I thought Seaby's game against the 3 Hawthorn rucks was slightly more deserving. I don't think anyone else gave Seaby a vote, which is fine, after all it's just an opinion.

Thats fine , Scott. Seaby did a job in the last 2 weeks which i didn't think he was capable of, with no back up against the Dawks when LRT went off. I'm not trying to say who people should vote for, but maybe hold back from voting straight away and then think about it a bit more and its only my opinion.

Don't bother explaining your votes to Bedders. He's a pernickety old man with a sore toe and a corn on his arse who likes to chase the young nurses around the old folk's home with his pyjamas undone.

Put McVeigh in the votes and he'll skin you alive.
