3 - Lucas - with a f*cked up hand. Will channel 9 get over the fact that he hasnt got a right foot. We know this

2 - Welsh - played well. Anyone know who his opponent was as he was always open

1 - M Johnson - One of the better games Ive seen him play

Other thoughts:

Henneman, please Kevin, spare us. How many times did he stuff up despite having a couple of moments. How ironic is it that he dropped that mark at the end, which could have won us the game, in his 50th game

Solly and McPhee presented well which is a big improvement. Problem is they dont play that good every week and we still lost

N Lovett Murray - I bet he would be a gun elsewhere. Sheedy doesnt seem to bring the best out of his players like other coaches. He had a shocker

Zantuck - Seemed timid at times

Bolton - Played well. Needs more heart

Cupido - Needs balls. His got the frame, start throwing your weight around

Kepler - Good game but keep him at CHB

Hird - Keep him as a half forward or on the ball. If his gonna be in the backline let him be the loose man. Besides that nice mark, was embarrassed last night. Should have been in a position where he could hurt Carlton. Dont know what sheeds was thinkin

J Johnson - Decent game, would prefer him off half forward. His skill errors cost us around the ground

Fletch - His still a gun, our midfield let him down time and again

Overall - Cam we just have some damn luck. I wasnt surprised to see us get caned in the last qtr, its like it was expected. Can sheeds quit trying to be creative with his matchups and just do whats most logical. His killin me

3-Lucas: Sensational
2-MJ: Ran through tackles like it was going out of fashion
1-Woosha: Always there, 2 good games already this year.

3- Lucas
2- M.Johnson
1- Welsh

I woke up this morning thinking it was a bad dream.

Did anyone have flashbacks to the 99 prelim late in the final quarter?

3. M. Johnson
2. S. Lucas
1. A. Welsh

I also thought Rama showed some good signs last night aswell. Lets hope he can get back to his 2000 form when he should have one the Rising Star Award.

I wonder if Sheeds wishes we went after a midfielder during trade week, Moloney would be handy and very helpful. But then he;d just play him on the bench.

3. Lucas

Fantastic game. If he keeps up this form he'll win his 2nd B & F easily. To think some Essendon supporters used to criticise him.

2. MJ

His best game since 2003

3. Welsh

Got plenty of the ball and gave his all.

3: Lucas. Brilliant effort, kept presenting all night, kicking was sensational. Super player and very underrated.
2: M.Johnson. The best game this guy has played. Loved the "don't argue" to that pr!ck Lappin in the 2nd that resulted in him kicking a goal.
1: Fletch. Probably saved about 4 goals with his efforts in the back line.

Mentions to Bradley, Welsh.

******** off NLM and Alvey, soft, weak, ordinary footballers.

Thought Zantuck was good for us last night and beat Fevola for 3 out of the 4 quaters. As for Hird playing the loose man in defence I dont think opposition coaches would allow that to happen. Whenever Hird goes to defence I see opposition coaches making him accountable and taking him straight to full back.

As for leaving Kepler at CHB. Its good in theory but sometimes the matcup will not allow this. Whitnall would have been to big , strong and smart for Kepler. And I couldnt see him playing on a Tradrea or jonathan Brown just yet. Think he still needs to put on a bit more size.

3 Lucas
2 MJ
1 Fletcher

Zantuck was a great pickup.
Hird did well to keep Lance out for three quarters, but he's not a backman.
Peverill, JJ and Welsh were good as well.
Solly was excellent, except for a few incidents of stupidity.

3 - MJ - Tough, solid and bullied Lappin? I think. Excellent game. Back to his B&F winning form
2 - Scotty - superb six goals. Shows that we can do it without Lloydy
1 - Fletch - Loose man back, rebounded excellently for us

Welsh, Pev, JJ, Keps, Ty, Smokey, Solly unlucky to miss out
