No idea, not seeing my first game in years doesn't help.

Special mentions to the Coke that has kept me studying, and to all those who follow the team every week by radio, I don't know how you do it.

5. Cameron Ling. I know it's odd giving a tagger BOG, but keeping last year's matchwinner to zero touches in the second half is sensational. Matchwinning performace.

4. Gary Ablett. Cut West Coast to pieces in the 3rd quarter when the game was there to be won.

3. Matty Stokes. Dangerous all day, but he was really the one to snuff out the Eagles' fightback in the last quarter.

2. Cameron Mooney. Brainfades aside, his four goals from CHF were just what we needed.

1. Brad Ottens. Terrific ruckwork all day, and contributed two valuable goals.

Apologies to Scarlo, Enright, Corey, Bartel, NAblett and Steve Johnson.

5. Ling. Not BOG, but Kerr only had 10 touches while Ling had 21... so he gets extra marks in my book
4. Bartel. With Corey did a great number on Judd.
3. Ottens. Best game of the year
2. Mooney. Smart footy today eg dragging Glass up the ground
1. Corey. With Bartel, did well on Judd

Jnr, Enright, N Ablett, Kelly (Best game for 18 months) and Stokes all good too.

Hmmm.... Well Kerr was in town.... :)

Like you, i would much rather be at the game, but way to much Geog homework. Bloody year 12!

5. Bartel - just incredible, did it all today.
4. Ling - Best Tagger going around. Kerr for Brownlow, lmao!
3. Ottens - Gave us the game with an excellent premiership quarter
2. Ablett - Came alive in the 3rd quarter aswell, set up numerous chances.
1. Kelly - Not one of my favourite players but he lifted today, first time i've ever seen him apply pressure to his opponent, forced many turnovers.

5 - Ling
4 - Ottens
3 - Mooney
2 - Jimmeh
1 - Gazza

Mentions to NAB, Stokes, Corey, Scarlett and Dog

5. Bartel was awseome at the clearances and that's where we won
4. Ottens dominated the Ruck and kicked 3 goals
3. Joel Corey tagged Judd and kept him quiet most of the day and still got 20+ possies
2. Scarlett - the general of the Backline
1. Ling kept Kerr out of the match

special mention: Mooney, Stokes, Gazza, Mackie, Egan

5. Ottens
4. Ling
3. Mooney
2. Scarlett
1. Bartel

Corey, Enright, both Abletts and MARK BLAKE also could have slit in there.

Every one played extremely well!:thumbsu:

5.Bartel
4.Ling
3.Scarlo
2.Gary
1.Otto

The sort of win that helps to define a club. The fact that they steadied in the last quarter when the Eagles were charging and then pulled away again is perhaps the best thing for their confidence out of today.

5. Scarlo - Made Lynch look 3rd rate
4. Ling - Kept Kerr quiet
3. Smithy - Awesome game
2. Bartel - Just keeps doing it week in week out
1. Mooney - 4 goals on one of the best defenders in the league

IMO, I don't know how Stokes got as many votes as he did in here. For most of the game he was on Wirrpunda who was too loose and was by far the Eagles' best player.

My faith in Stokesy was severely tested in the first half - always seemed to be a good 3 metres away from Wirrapunda who was simply cleaning up the loose ball in the back half (not helped by our shonky disposal). But I thought is spoke volumes about the side that by far the three biggest improvers in the second half were Gaz, Stokes and Mooney. Gaz broke his tag, Mooney started playing all over the ground rather than wasting away deep in the forward line, and Stokes did what Stokes does. The fact he picked up 20 possessions despite having such a crap first half speaks volumes for how good he is.

Not denying his second half was better, especially the last 1/4 and a half, but overall didnt think his game warranted votes. But's that just my opinion.
