Watson was our only midfielder who can hold his head high. We need another clearence player in there fast, i say bring in McVeigh and Hislop for the Sydney game.
A lot of people are bagging Stanton and yes he made some errors but i thought his work rate was great. He has been playing forward quite a bit lately and isnt doing that badly

My old man fought for this country, today is always a proud day for my family, got no pride watching Essendon. One of the softest performances I've seen from an Essendon side in memory. Having watched today's game, I agree it isn't fair that Essendon be the only couple of teams play on ANZAC. What a bunch of soft ____s! I couldn't care less if no one else agrees with me, that was as soft as a performance as you'll ever see!
