The past few weeks giving votes was impossible for no one deserved them! tonight its impossible to leave anyone out of the VOTES

3 - Hillie the best game I have ever seen him play, nearly 30 touches and he totally owned cox!!

2 - Lloyd he has been coping it all week in the newspaper and in the second half lifted and that MARK!!

Fletch and Spike did well as usual. Also very impresssed with Reimers, Neagle and particularly Monfries. He's improving more and more each week and continuing to put his body on the line.

1- Lonergan - loved his game. Shows all the qualities of an up and coming midfielder.

Second that. Sam is my new favourite player, until Hislop shows how tough he is...

Hille - Probably the best game played by an Essendon player so far this year.
Stanton - Worked hard, found the ball and used it well.
Lloyd - Worked hard up the ground and was rewarded. Great disposal and the hangar capped off a great night.

Thought he absolutely dominated Cox and Seaby all night in the ruck. Went forward and kicked three important goals. Best On ground by quite a distance.

2. Lloyd

Played a different role from what we're used too, very unselfish and used the ball to perfection. Kicked a couple and took the mark of the night.

1. Stanton

There were a few to choose from but i thought his work ethic was fantastic. 27 Possessions, 5 marks and 10 tackles thought he deserved a mention.

A few other players who had great games were Monfries, Welsh, Fletcher, Reimers, Lonergan and McPhee.

Good to see Lucas and Neagle playing well also. Good win by the boys

You're right about Laycock, stander.

Some of his roving is sublime, and he's a good mark and a good kick. Also, his instinct is to kick it, as you can see by the number of times he's kicked it when being tackled. If he can get his head together, and play well for 60-70% game time, we'll have a very powerful ruck duo, with Hille and Laycock rotating through ruck, full-forward and the bench, and Ryder pinch-hitting with Bellchambers either developing in the ruck in the 2s, or as a key forward for the 1s.
