It's a pity I can't give all 6 to Richo! How good was he tonight!

I also thought that it was a good thing to win as we really didn't play as well as he have in the past few weeks. We didn't seem to have the same midfield edge and also looked a little shaky running the ball out of defence at times - actually costing us goals.

This week it was Bowden who stood up in the middle providing us with the most drive. Johnson and Coughlan were also good without being outstanding. Newman was another who really contributed well.

You have to admire Stafford. With little support in the ruck, he had to run almost the entire night against a Jolly / Jamar tag team and won that battle hands down, providing plenty of drive in the midfield and also being damaging up forward. Makes the Daffy trade look even better by the day!

Although he does get maligned, do not underestimate the efforts of Matthew Rogers tonight. Yze is their most damaging player and his effect on the game was minimal.

3-2-1

3 - Richo
2 - Staff
1 - Chaffey

I forgot what a blinder Chaff played - sorry Chuppa

I can't disagree with any of youse. 28 marks between staff and richo superb performance.

Got to speak to Razor tonight - he expects to come back next week - says he'll probably have to come back thru 2s, but i reckon he might get a spot hey.

Go Tiges

3/-richo[richo of old]
2/-chaffey[other teams will have to start taking notice.]
1/-staff[once again stoodup in the ruck and in the last qtr after a injury scare].

Great game Tiges! Was great to see.

CJH stole my words (or maybe I'm stealing his!), but Buck Rogers did a great job tonight on Yze. Really held him up well. Newman looked the goods, Gas played well and kicked a goal to top it and the midfield played impressively.

Now onto West Coast ... at the house of pain ...

3. Richo - no more need be said. Still has the most simmering potential of any established player in the comp.
2. Chaffey - a real pro. Safe, steady performance.
1. AK - In great form atm. Took some telling marks and repelled well all night.

Special mention to Staff and Bowdo.

I also liked Andy Kraquer's 1 percenters tonight. A bit of a come down from last week goal wise but he was hitting packs hard, dishing out useful handballs and laying tackles really well. Definitely not a step backwards. I thought Fiora showed a few more good signs tonight too. He's still a bit frustrating but definitely a player who could be ripe to explode. Kinda like a Des Headland pre 2002. Looks beaut with the ball - but just doesn't find it enough. I still have high hopes.

3: Richo /// Finally got a really good game in. Richo 24 possessions for a Half Forward.. the most possessions in a game is amazing. Well done Matthew Richardson.
2: Chaff /// He was brilliant. They best midfield type player in the match I thought. He really showed what he can do for the club.
1: Stan Stafford /// even with the injury he Rucked and rucked and kicked goals and kicked goals. He is a brilliant player. I thought that if he didnt come back on we may have lost the match.

Hard to fit Joel and AK in there.

Thought Melbourne strangled our midfield, which meant we had to struggle to the end. Richo was fantastic and Staff continues to be a good option forward. Reliable mark, reliable kick. Newman continues to impress down back, alongside GAS, Chaff, Kellaway & Zantuck.

3 - Stafford - Magnificent game by the big fella. Not only marked everything that went near him, and converted goals (including the icer) when in range, but was a fantastic link man through the centre. Thanks again, Swannies.

2 - Chaffey - Constantly cleaning up across half back, and setting up attacking moves with beautiful decision-making and disposal off the backline.

1 - Richo - 16 marks was very impressive, but did give away about half a dozen frees, which cost him 2 votes.

Unlucky others : Gaspar, Kellaway, Coughlan, Bowden, Newman, Tivvers, Johnson, Rogers.

Good effort to win by 9 when we were 2 goals down about half way though the last quarter.
Not the best win but well done Tigers for getting the 4 points in the end. :)
