Great to have a yarn at Manuka with hopper, who had his hands full on kiddie watch. Chatted to quite a few "local" Roos supporters as well and it was made pretty clear that the lack of promotion and TV AFL news and game coverage is holding us back in a big way. Ask hopper................there are also plenty of "sleeper" Roos fans up north who aren't paid up members. There's also a decent level of interest in the result from your average joe in Canberra as I was very surprised how many people asked me, when seeing me in North cap, "How'd WE go?...............YES, that's great......". All of them said that whilst they may hardly ever have attended a game, they and their friends do hold an interest in the Roos fortunes..........much like the Storm down here in Melbourne to the general AFL fans.

Good crowd and great to stick it up the Swans fans.........AND players of course.

Special mention to Jess Sinclair and great to see Eddie get time and recognition. Thompson.....whilst dropping a simple mark it was extra pleasing to witness up close how hard he was working off the ball. He tries his guts out.

Has to be one of the worst games I've seen in years. I know Laids had them kicking sideways and backwards because he didn't want them to kick straight to the huge numbers of Sydney players across our half forward line but it did look awful and the crowd booed for most of the game. Thank goodness we don't play Sydney every week.

3 Archer Half his possesions were useless however he did do some good defensive work and was one of our only 4 quarter players.

2 Grant I thought he did some good thngs throughout the day and then finished it with 3 goals in the final quarter.

1 Sinclair Pretty happy with his work all day.

Was good to see Harvey finally get a some touches after hardly getting near it for the first half.
Makepeace did some good work after stuffing up his kicks in the first quarter.
