Haven't seen this thread yet so here goes.

5 - Morton (the only player whom gets a vote without a comment)
4 - Riewoldt ( FFS learn to kick)
3 - foley (FFS learn to kick)
2 - McGuane (made some bad mistakes but in the end did a reasonable job on fev)
1 -Tambling (did nothing for 2.5 quarters but showed a bit at the end)

best of the rest:

Jackson (It took a third player in to stop him from keeping judd quiet)
Richo (tried his guts out but loose man in defence does not impress me)
raines (Too loose and disposal let him down - but at least he got the ball a bit)

Our worst:

1st - edwards (played a shocker and out of his depth)
2nd - N Brown ( could not believe his stats when i saw them - at this stage i prefer pettifer to his game last night !!!)
3rd - Jay (just a dumb footballer).

5 Morton
4 Foley
3 Mcguane
2 Simmonds (forgetting about the 1st qtr)
1 Richo

worst 3
1 Mcmahon
2 Deledio (ok, he wasnt our worst player but he players way under what he usually and needs to be this year)
3 Brown

Morton our only player to win his position ONLY RFC WINNER

best of the rest:
White, Tambling Cousins and Schulz, by no means good bc they didnt get enough of it, but when they did get it they were infinetely better than everyone else. White gave several beautiful passes into 50 and showed that with composure, he can execute, maybe some hope for him yet.

sorry but everyone else FAIL

5 - Morton (good solid effort and pleasing to see he appears to have improved on a couple of flaws from last year)
4 - White (was our most effective mid)
3 - Richo (ho-hum game for him really)
2 - Reiwoldt (presented well, kicked poorly)
1 - Tambling (played at expectations).

Couldn't find a vote for Foley...he did nothing with the ball and that hurt us, Simmonds was ineffective at best, Newman and Deledio were poor.

Brown, McMahon, Bowden, Edwards and Raines were so cumulatively bad I don't even want to think about it.

Tambling is a long way down the queue this week for bagging.

But how he can fall into votes for doing nothing for 2.5 quarters before the game was shot is odd.

I'm suprised Thurstfield hasn't polled in anyones shit first. He was inspid last night. Had about 5 goals kicked on him.

Best:
5 - Morton
4- Richo
3- Riewoldt
2- White
1- Tambling

And they are the only 5 who can hold their heads high after the game plus probably McGuane

Worst:
5- McMohan
4- Edwards
3- Thurstfield
2- Brown
1- Schultz

+3 Morton
+2 Richo
+1 Foley

-3 Brown
-2 Schulz
-1 Edwards
Could easily be 10 other players added to this list:(

Votes :
5 Morton
4 Bling
3 Sarge ( extremely good early )
2 McGaunne
1 Richo

Worst :
5 McMahon
4 Bowden
3 Newman
2 Lids
1 One of the Brown(e)s

Watched the match a couple of times since and of the more maligned players, Schulz and Bling were easily in our best 5, whilst McMahon was quite clearly our worst.
I guess on a positive note not to often you would have seen a game over the past 5-6 years and had Bowden, Newman, Lids and Nathan Brown all vying for WOG votes.

thankyou ptf, we dont always agree but its good to see you call it as it is instead of how you hope it is unlike most on here.

Schulz was not a bad player, how he can figure in ppls worst is beyond comprehension, he played fwd for the majority and apart from 1 missed set shot he did everything right, chased, tackled etc. People just like to trot out the same names without thinking. watch the friggin game again and then tell me he was in our top 15 worst players

Best:
5. Mitch Morton - 4 goals were good, lead up well, room to improve
4. Matt White - his kicking has improved alot, hit forwards easily
3. Richard Tambling - all we gotta do is turn 16 possi's to 24 possi's
2. Jack Reiwoldt - please kick goals son !!
1. Nathan Foley - hard at it .. needs to flatten out his loopy kicks

Worst:
5. Matthew Richardson - didnt man up, didnt tackle, selfish footballer
4. Nathan Brown - i got no idea what went wrong here ..
3. Troy Simmonds - fumble, fumble, fumble, fumble, DROPPED
2. Joel Bowden - to slow, i cant see where he fits in our team ..
1. Shane Edwards - He's not a half back flanker, put him forward ...
