I'm sure the reason for adamson not being upgraded is the salary cap . Cat B rookies are payed outside our cap . If we upgraded him whatever he is getting payed 150k + would be extra we can't spend next year on contracts with the ability to rollover up to 5% of our cap .

Or we don't have room too in our cap now .
 
Looks like they have been giving Adamson a few roles this year. Half back, run with, rover. Still prone to panic with the ball and hasn't developed the composure especially in congestion. It's coming but he isn't ready yet. Would be eaten alive in the quicker AFL.

A mixed bag at todays game.
Barrass was back to his brilliant 2015 form. Back reading the play and taking marks gliding in front of packs. Moved freely and didn't look he was hampered with a dicky shoulder.
Partington played his best game and gained some confidence. First time he looked like a senior WAFL player.
Nelson played the worst half I have seen him play in the first half. Picked up in the second half.
Cole, Bennell, Brophy, Colledge had the Garry Stocks standard solid games.
Giles was the only ruckman for EP and worked hard. Lathlain Park is a big ground, he will be tired tonight. (the EP backup ruckman would've made his league debut but was walking around in a moon boot so must have been injured during the week).
When Perth kicked the first goal in the last quarter and looked to be coming hard McGinnity and Allen lifted, kicked a couple of goals and settled East Perth. It was nearly the only thing Allen did but its the timing of when he did it. Third game in a row McGinnity has been a good part of a game winning surge.

Lamb...Lamb...Lamb...It is these kinds of games that make you scream. Blatantly obvious by his demeaner that he was given a rocket during the week. Followed the rocket by playing with the attitude he should and he got the rewards, 5 goals. Not a dominant display and he kicked 3 late when the game was over and East Perths fitness was over running Perth. They were still 5 goals that he had to work to get, no cheap goals in the goal square. If he plays with this attitude week in week out he won't be in the WAFL long. Problem is every other time he has played a good game post rocket he hasn't backed it up.

He should be an automatic selection then based on what our so called best mid does every week haha :P

The Dees have steadfastly refused to lay down and die to date so imagine they would tell the Eagles to go pluck themselves regardless of how logical it may be when the time comes.

Man Can't we just get a stand alone side that can be co-tenants with perth. We can just fill the side ressie level players and WAAFL players. Its a win/win the way i see it. we get a reserves side and while suck we also are able to develop these guys who a ressie level or WAAFL into solid WAFL player and allow the rest of the competition to to poach em.
