The West says Munns played on Lucas and kept him to 2 kicks. Mentioned Jetta played limited minutes of disinterested football, nothing about Lucas on limited time.

The five guys dropped to the reserves deserved to be dropped. Unfortunately some of the West Coast players that replaced them didn't deserve to be promoted.

Lucas was tagged out of the game, more interested in complaining to the umpire than actually trying to beat a kid from the country that hasn't played 10 games. Jetta didn't play the first quarter.

Once agin only a couple of players worth talking about. Barrass is just waiting, Nelson played in the midfield and did well. Thought 5 West Coast players being dropped may have motivated them but McGinnity, Nelson and Barrass were nearly the only guys who cared. Mcinness tries but just isn't a traget up forward, did ok in the last when shifted to CHB.

seems a little strange that one of the best kicks in the afl wouldnt get on the ground in the first quarter of a wafl game. Injuries?, Attitude?

All this alignment has done has made the players who play there play as individuals, when they were spread throughout the 9 clubs they played with guys every week who had a focus about team and winning, if they didn't step up and perform they were the laughing stock.
Now if they don't perform it doesn't matter because they are all together and winning doesn't matter. No one will laugh at them as their team mates are all listed as well.
If the Eagles think this system is better for their players then they are fair dinkum idiots.
Not an ounce of proof this system improves any sides chances of winning an AFL premiership.

He is finished mate, that's why you guys never really were bothered in him leaving, hasn't had a kick the last two years with you guys.

He's inconsistent - he shows great ability at times but struggles at others. Your abuse is pathetic.

I'm going off the 3 games I've seen of him and, yes, shoot me for the flair of the hyperbole. Don't see much in him.

Not the case at all. Not being played in the first quarter is clearly a sign of having his minutes managed. Will most likely be playing for West Coast this Saturday

He wasn't even close to worst on ground today Carbine Chaos. Mate, there were plenty worse. Biggest criticism I have of him is he tiptoes into contests.

What a shit trade for us last year. Redden - underperforming and has no impact in big games, Jetta - we have too many of his type that aren't willing to go hard and are soft outside runners, Giles - Jesus christ what the hell is going on in the recruiting department?

I can't say I follow the WAFL personally... but I do like looking at the reports of how our players have gone over the weekend. Going by reports in this forum, and the fact that he was dropped to the reserves, Bennell has taken some massive backward steps this year. What the hell happened? At the start of the year it looked like he was going to be putting pressure on Hill and Lecca for a spot as a small forward. Pretty disappointing to loose depth in that area, especially with Lecca's form of late.
