Why you would upgrade them ahead of Hotline bemuses me. Shit list management.

Room for one more upgrade now and another at the halfway mark.

Adamson was in the ressies earlier in the year, hardly surprising he was back in the queue.

did you go to the game today mate?

so does lamb come in for cripps or lecras and let the know that these kind of performances are unacceptable? I would like to see lecras play as a deep forward from now on.

Nope, clashed with the AFL game.

I don't understand the calls to drop LeCras/Cripps to "send them a message about their effort" and bring in Lamb whose attitude has been questioned most weeks.

Bennell is a potential replacement for either and on form not a bad idea.

Matthew Watson dominating for East Freo, good mark and kick on him.

Too slow and turning circle of an orbiting planet though.

True but lets be honest the great white hope at Fremantle Michael Apeness makes Watson look nimble and fleet footed.

He may have been back in the queue and I still don't know where to rate him, but I can tell you that if I was a selector Lucas and Colledge wouldn't be getting near the A's, unless there was a massive injury list. :)

I would be happy with Lucas getting games. Colledge getting upgraded at the start of the year was strange.

A mixed bag at todays game.
Barrass was back to his brilliant 2015 form. Back reading the play and taking marks gliding in front of packs. Moved freely and didn't look he was hampered with a dicky shoulder.
Partington played his best game and gained some confidence. First time he looked like a senior WAFL player.
Nelson played the worst half I have seen him play in the first half. Picked up in the second half.
Cole, Bennell, Brophy, Colledge had the Garry Stocks standard solid games.
Giles was the only ruckman for EP and worked hard. Lathlain Park is a big ground, he will be tired tonight. (the EP backup ruckman would've made his league debut but was walking around in a moon boot so must have been injured during the week).
When Perth kicked the first goal in the last quarter and looked to be coming hard McGinnity and Allen lifted, kicked a couple of goals and settled East Perth. It was nearly the only thing Allen did but its the timing of when he did it. Third game in a row McGinnity has been a good part of a game winning surge.

Lamb...Lamb...Lamb...It is these kinds of games that make you scream. Blatantly obvious by his demeaner that he was given a rocket during the week. Followed the rocket by playing with the attitude he should and he got the rewards, 5 goals. Not a dominant display and he kicked 3 late when the game was over and East Perths fitness was over running Perth. They were still 5 goals that he had to work to get, no cheap goals in the goal square. If he plays with this attitude week in week out he won't be in the WAFL long. Problem is every other time he has played a good game post rocket he hasn't backed it up.

Thanks for the report Barney44

Very pleased to hear Parto is adapting better to WAFL level, 2 goals and almost 20 touches is a good return. Five goals is five goals - good work by the Lambo!

That's always been the issue hasn't it? Will he back it up in the next few weeks or go back into cruise mode?

Anyone got a Waterman update?

To all in the know, is Cole a player we can turn into a hard bodied mid?

Hard to say at the moment, but one attribute that definitely jumped out watching him at WAFL level is his ability to find a player in congestion by hand and also ride a tackle and then dish off. Gets his hands free very well.

Sounds like McGinnity could be a good fit for dropping LeCras or Cripps. Need some fight from the small forwards to get some space in the F50 and snap a goal or two in the clinches. If teams are going to play the flood - snap rebound game against us, we need some forwards who can break the congestion. Need some confidence/devil-may-care attitude from the forwards with the goalkicking as well, seemed like they were tentative today about kicking too many behinds.

What about Adamson? He had good stats and the second highest amount of DT points?

Those who watch east perth, how far is Adamson from an AFL call up or even an upgrade.

I can't believe he hasn't been upgraded over Lucas or Colledge yet. Hopefully they do something soon as he's been getting 20 plus possessions and several goals in games recently.
well college got upgraded before adamson hit form and i guess lucas got it because he has been been decent for a bit. i heard theres another spot available and hopefully adamson gets rewarded with it.
