When it was dry he was hit ting up targets fine. Once it got wet and sloppy inside he was just trying to get it forward. Won plenty of clearances with his big frame and handdballed to guys in space to get it forward. Worth a punt at AFL level IMO.

I doubt he would even get a game this year due to salary cap restrictions. He is developing very well and with another pre season + season could be our priddis replacment

nah love the fact our 3 key defenders are gun kicks and Simmo probably does too . Emac isn't I'm afraid . but with Gov and schoey injury history Emac will geta run

I dont think his kicking is that bad. He kept to his limitations in 2014. I wouldnt say our current 3 have gun kicks. Apart from gov the other 2 are a bit iffy.

Aren't the category B rookies treated differently under the salary cap?

Yes their salary Iis kept out of our Total Player Payments until they are upgraded . I would assume Adamson is on 150k+ as we lured him away from another sport and we would have to have that room in our TPP to upgrade . It may also limit funds set aside to roll over to next yyear's cap with the new rules

Reckon Duggan is just getting through games , going 100% but not kamakazee like last year in the WAFL ending up with a bad knee injury .

Anyway i think Duggan will be fine proven he can play at AFL level and has a future .

That's stretching it a bit. Barass has been very dodgy and kicked 2across goals out on the full recently. He will be Ok once he gets confidence but other than his early years and maybe a couple earlier this year on his return from injury, MacKenzie has been a better kick than both Schofield and Barass.

I know a lot of you don't rate Luke Partington, but I think he has potential. Some people think he's too small but Lachie Neale is 176cm and Partington is 182cm so those comments are just irrelevant to footballing ability. I think we need to give him some time to develop, sometimes 18-19 year old's don't have to burst onto the scene. We've seen what can happen when players are given some time to develop (McGovern,Prides etc)

He's odd because he's 182 but he looks heaps shorter like almost Ballantyne height.
