The game that cost east perth a chance to play finals was against perth at lathlain when they lost by 3 points with 15 eagles players.East perth won games with less then 10 eagles against mediocre opposition.It is not that east perth are mediocre but the fact that east perth have to play mediocre eagles in the league side.That is why the eagles had a clean out this year.Lamb and giles were mediocre.If you want to play as many eagles at wafl level and they lose games then it shows that they are mediocre or still finding their feet coming from a inferior comp.By that I mean Tac,Colts. It is a step up especially if you bypass wafl reserves.Play as many eagles as you like but if you lose more games then you win then all you are learning is how to be a loser.So ends the sermon.
