I can't believe how many East Perth supporters seem to have come out of the wood work in the last couple of years.... Wonder why??....

Not bad but I think the 40 flag was in reduced competition. But then you can only beat the teams you come up against.

The mighty Swans to have a hattrick for their first set of wins is amazing. Then in 82, 83 & 84 to do it again.

If only Leon Baker and Ronnie Boucher were around today, what a show they'd put on.

It is also amazing how many Royals supporters have emerged, and people have a go at "supporters" jumping on Essendons bandwagon.

All the best for Peel this year, I hope they give alot of teams who don't want them some egg on their faces.

Not bad for a side to be last on the ladder in 1960 and to win the flag the next year......

Did not know 1940 was a reduced comp year.....*going off to check my football wisdens*

Well i wouldn't mark them all down to them being back to back premiers, i would say a fair few probably, like me, started to follow them when the Eagles aligned with them. Before then i didn't really follow the WAFL at all, now i do, and it was because of the alignment, and obviously the fact they were succeeding at that time, that I follow East Perth, and will do for MANY years to come!
