So those who want to one fo the game today ae you able to tell us other big footy members how the eagles involved went? :)
Spangher: Played very well. Clean delivery out of the backline and plenty of good spoils and clean retrievals. Wore Mugumbwa rugged in the second.
Wasn't afraid to move out of the backline into the middle and did so on several occasions with good impact.

Houlihan: I didn't notice him til middle of the second quarter, but he was involved in some really important passages of play and used his pace wonderfully.
In one of the plays that baffled me a bit he and his teammates were passing around about 35 out in their attacking 50. Houlihan, instead of taking a shot from a perfectly kickable position, kicked a high floater that South rebounded from and kicked a goal from. Like I said though, he wasn't the only one who hot potatoed it in that passage.
He redeemed himself by kicking a goal in congestion not too much later.

Wilson: Very out of sorts, had little to no impact. Was beaten thoroughly by Courtney Johns.
Will be lucky to be on our list at the end of the season.

Just classy West Perth fans spitting on and throwing stuff at the East Perth match committee and then touching cotton when Hynes confronted them.

There might even be an investigation into a West Perth fan and an incident with Craig Hendrie when he came off at half time.

I thought at full time it was more the guy who was waving the wooden spoon broke it and threw the shards at the coaching staff but not forecefully...kind of escalated from there. The Royals fans down below weren't exactly saints yesterday either but hey..you lost :thumbsu: We didn't!

Didn't throw it forcefully? How did it cause a cut on Tony Micales head then?

Throwing anything at the opposition coaching staff is unacceptable, however forcefully it is thrown. Spitting is also unacceptable.

Looks like some interesting times ahead with this possible investigation.

Some people just need to think a little longer before they perform an action though, then none of this would happen.

So the West Perth supporter who threw the spoon has been banned from all WAFL games for the remainder of the year....and rightfully so.
Is anyone aware of any punishment for the East Perth fan (I believe coincidentally, the same fan involved in one of East Perth's fracas' last season and brother of a Royals player) who retrieved the wooden spoon thrown at Micale and threw it into the face of a female supporter nearby?
