Is Butler playing in the middle?
I just switched from watching Sqans v Clarement to the Gold Coast v Saints game. Good luck to any AFL player trying to get from WADL to AFL...it's a different game altogether with the umpires interpretation. WAFL more like basketball these says and I though AFL was bad enough.

The WAFL always has bad umpiring.

Only matched by the those witless idiots that are off their chops in the ducks members areas.

I'm listening on Sports FM now. Missed the first three quarters.

Don't know about his disposal, but his kick made it to a teammate even though he was dragged off it.

Were you at the game swannies? Anything to report?
No, finalising things for my cricket club wind up tomorrow so won't see any footy this weekend, sadly. Although in Swans case it may be a blessing in disguise. :p

Hahahaha just be happy you got to see a Swans flag (relatively recently), may be a long time before you see another. ;)

It was 20 between the last 2 and I was happy enough with that, so yeah, I'll be happy for a few more.

I'm prepared. Few more JW @ Dry will get me more prepared. ;)

Went to Easts v Subiaco. Subiaco struggled against East Fremantles strong center square rotation. I thought Subiaco had more standout "talent" on show but in the wrong areas of the ground.

If they where as full strength Subiaco would have rolled him IMO.

Patrick Cripps is very good. 188cm and strong, pretty leggy for a conventional inside midfielder. Strong in the clinches and presents well around the ground. Doesn't provide that much run and spread but when he does he uses it well.

J.Jensen is a similar height to Cripps but no way near as leggy and in space looks a little slow. Both his hands and his disposal by foot look silky.

J.Marsh is a mixed bag. Taller than his brother and just a little bit more awkward because of it. Being played as a KPF but simply isn't one. Looks a lot better when the ball hits the deck, can use his body size and speed to better effect then.

J.Green from Easts was excellent. Another mature age guy but racked the ball up on the inside and ran hard on the outside. Not sure if he's on the radar but he's much improved upon his good form from last year.

Wood from Subiaco is superb. Listed as 186cm but would be a little taller than that. Incredibly strong overhead, tiny turning circle, a great set shot and can play on a wing or even through the middle. He's a mature age player with a 94 birthday.

R.Mcalister is another one I like. Highly skilled small that breaks games open o finishes. But he is small at just 174cm.

Greg Clarke. Superb athlete and physically one of the more impressive players on the ground in spite of being just 15.

Didn't hit to many targets by foot and dropped almost everything that went near him. In saying that he's not using his body size to dominate that much, he can half break tackles and has super clean hands. He's the same age as Jordan Matera so it's still impressive.

Josh Deluca is a 2014 prospect but he's pretty impressive. Can play inside or out, physically pretty imposing and well built. Nailed a superb goal from the left forward pocket on his left under duress.

Vermeersch is a KPF from Subi kicked four and can really clunk a strong mark. Probably a rookie prospect if anything ATM.
