Where is Murray Newman? Not on the injury list and not playing 2nds...
Injured for a couple of months, we don't put rookies on the injury list for some reason

Freo losing is usually a requirement as well but they beat the injectors so that's okPerfect weekend, The Eagles got pumped by the Falcons and The Eagles won against Port Adelaide. Doesn't get better than that.
Listening to West Perth v Swan Districts, I can't help but reflect that, if my surname was Kerr, I wouldn't name my son Rowan.

Reptured a tendon on a finger, out for 6 weeks I recall. Happened 2 weeks ago maybe!

Excited by Cavka, can't wait to see him later in the year.
Machine.

Last year he was playing angry. Maybe got comfortable with Cox leaving over the off season. Glad Sinclair is playing the 'keep him keen' decoy role.Watching Sinclair stitch up both Ryder and Lobbe in the ruck tells me Lycett still needs to get tougher. The "built like tarzan, plays like Jane" seems apt
He needs a 2 week training session with Mumford to get some angry pills
Wonder if he was breaking jaws again?Yep I was at a training session the other day and was told he had hurt his hand and might be a while off yet. Hopefully Cavka is not too far away too.

Did Nelson go back to the ressies? Wondering how he is going?
Was the given a week off and came back as the sub against Port but had little impact.Did Nelson go back to the ressies? Wondering how he is going?
In his defense though he only came on with about 15 minutes to go in the last quarter. Was the given a week off and came back as the sub against Port but had little impact.
Completely agree, I was answering on the basis it was a supercoach questionIn his defense though he only came on with about 15 minutes to go in the last quarter.
Don't be sucked in with possession counts and supercoach scores. Nelson came on late and filled the corridor brilliantly and made sure we had options and closed down Port brilliantly. He basically was running his ar$e off blocking Port. Great coaching and well executed. Yes no possessions but did exactly what I expect the coach asked him to do.Was the given a week off and came back as the sub against Port but had little impact.
I need to re-watch the match. Pretty much spent the last 45 minutes hiding behind my couch so may have missed a bit. Would be good to watch knowing the result, I'm sure I'd see a lot more.Don't be sucked in with possession counts and supercoach scores. Not sure to be honest. I was surprised to hear it was a hand injury as I thought he had hurt his playing at Easts..
Yep you're right. He got a low hard pass from Tunbridge but I'm not sure if it was the ball or the spoil from the opposition which caused the damage, I would have thought it was about 4 weeks ago so he should be almost due to be back in training. I was there a couple of weeks ago and he was on the ground but protecting his right hand where he had a finger in a protective shieldHe hurt his hand (ruptured tendon?) early in a EP game but played on and kicked four goals from memory.

How is Waterman and Powell going in the 2s. I was really looking forward to seeing more of Powell this year, maybe next year.Colledge named in the guts for East Perth, Brophy and Nelson in defence, Barrass oddly at full-forward with Waterman alongside him in a pocket, Powell on a flank and Karpany on an extended bench. The emergencies Lycett, McGinnity and Lucas aren't named although at least one and probably two will be released you'd think
Xavier Ellis is named in the reserves as is Adamson, no Dylan Main again it seems.
