This is Andrew Walker who used to cry after losses at junior level, who is so determined to succeed that he is a sore looser in the rooms afterwards.

I think with Andrew, the problem is that he expects SO MUCH from himself and his team, that he is very much a confidence player. He takes it out on himself too much, and i think that is why we have seen him so up and down lately.

A 21 year old with 73 games of experience behind him. At that level, much more should be demanded of him.

As I've said before, age at AFL level is relevant in only two areas- 1. physical development (take one look at Walker and tell me he isnt built enough for top level footy) and 2. as a general indicator of experience (most 21 year olds would have barely gotten 30-40 games of experience. Walker has benefited from a crap list and gotten many opportunities he wouldnt have otherwise gotten).

If the guy cant learn to disposal of the ball at even an average AFL standard he should be dropped to the reserves.

I stick by my prediction that Andrew Walker was never going to turn out to be anything more than an ordinary, average player that wouldnt get a look in at a much better team. I see no reason to change that after today.

Summary: The "Walker is still a kid" argument is complete bullshit.
