The explanation is not quite correct. The dogs where trained to attack captured German tanks, but said captured tanks where crewed by Soviets. Didn't Trump recently say they didn't want Ukraine's help. Just mind-boggling how the guy can say whatever shit he wants one day and then the opposite the next day.

He said he doesn't want military help from western allies in the Persian gulf. Of course he said that after he was turned down by them.

It is happening though, Ukraine has sent teams already:

Clearly Trump doesn't want to be seen as needing Ukraine's help because that would offend his boyfriend Putin. I assume the agreement will be kept absolutely confidential for this reason.

We can only speculate what Ukraine gets in return for this from US.
