Rant and rave perhaps. The rest? That’s just your ranting and raving. When have I done that? I want the club to sack a failed coach. I buy the memberships, go to the games and yell my head off whether or not I agree with the coaching appointment. What makes you think I’m a bandwagoner or a backslapper? The fact I don’t accept Malthouse should be coach because he is? I’d be willing to bet I’ve watched more losses than you’ve watched wins.

how much would you want to bet we were a pretty useful side when i started watching them and they won more than they lost most years

We have made the finals 3 out of the last 5 seasons. Whilst this isn't great, and we didnt win any flags, it is an improvement on the previous 5 seasons, and the previous 5 before that...


malthouse has been the best coach we've had since matthews, and he was woeful after 1990.

How is any of that relevant? We’ve also won no finals in the last 3 years and played finals in 3 of 7 seasons under MM. We’ve had 1 coach between Mathews and Malthouse and he is acknowledged as very ordinary. So MM is a better coach than Tony Shaw. Big deal.

you have had 18 posts under this banner and some were as long winded and pointless as i have read, you must really hate malthouse with a passion.i wonder how much he hates opposition coaches. PS i know you buy a membership

It isn’t a question of hate at all. I just don’t think he’s good enough. You’ve had a few posts on the topic. How much do you love the bloke? Really, can we just keep it to the issues?

I’ve said numerous times and my posting history will back it up, I was a happy supporter until he failed to correct list deficiencies which cost us in December and failed to get good enough results due to a number of factors that he is responsible for. The breaking point for me was the Freo loss in 2005. I don’t care if you think that makes me a bandwagoner. Results count and he doesn’t get them for us.

The expectations are too high. Malthouse said Collingwood will improve on last year, in order for that to happen, we have to make the top four. Honesty is the best medicine. In that case, the supporters know what to expect and understand that Malthouse knows what is expected of the list. He should have said... "We will finish between 5th - 10th on the ladder. We are a few years away from becoming a very good football team."
