He said it was intentional. He meant to throw a punch. This was clearly admitted.

No I am serious. 99 percent of what we see on a Footy field is assault. Walk up and hip and shoulder a Cop, or tackle them and see how far it gets you.

Trying to take massive hangar putting a flying knee in the back and getting nowhere near the ball could easily be assault if it went that far.
