FairAnyone who uses the word “fair” is a *******
Nothing to loseWhy on earth would they?
8 weeks is perfectly fair for this kind of thing. Its the lower end of what the AFL were seeking, and they absolutely won the arguments in the hearing.
Gaff's defence arguing for three was mind blowing.
They weren't asking for three. The lawyer simply stated three is the base point for these category of cases (high impact, high contact, intentional). It's very misleading to state that therefore this means Gaff should only get three - clearly this isn't on the lower end of the scale of these cases.
8 seems fair. I personally don't agree with the way police take a hands off approach to assault on a sporting field.it was worse than solomon who also got 8.

I just out of the car and was listening to SEN so I didn't hear that bit. They weren't asking for three. He didn't try to bullshit his way out of anything.8 weeks and everyone now sees Gaff as a coward who king hit a teenager and a germ who tried to bullshit his way out of it.
His stomach... no his chest.... no I was trying to push him.... no it was Brayshaw's fault for moving.
This is part of his character now.
Disgusting.
Take it and run. We dont need the distraction of an appeal. You sure about that?
From my understanding, the Tribunal can impose a worse sentence.
R v Billinghurst is the precedent. If WaPol charged Gaff, and the DPP did their job they would absolutely secure a conviction.
You sure about that?

I await your thesis condemning all the acts of violence from Fremantle players over the years, because its a long list.8 weeks and everyone now sees Gaff as a coward who king hit a teenager and a germ who tried to bullshit his way out of it.

I thought as 8 was in the range they wanted they can't get moreYou sure about that?

To be fair I would recommend that course of action to everyonebetter not come to Pakenham.
It would be hard for the AFL to argue that the tribunal made an error when that was in the range the AFL advocated.I thought as 8 was in the range they wanted they can't get more
close thread. To answer the title question, yes he has played his last game for WC.
