Again, like Caracella, he wasn’t washed up he just suffered a very serious injury. Rintoul could still play for sure but the concussions added up.

Sorry, didn't realise concussions got him. Just checked up on him.

I remember him wanting to get to the Pies a few years earlier but the deal fell through.
Spent a few years a the Eagles, i thought he played alright, then crossed back to the Pies.

Was looking forward to watching him kick on with us but a couple of years and 15 odd games later he was done.

Hence my thinking of being washed up.

Yes the trading in the mid 90s was diabolical. No wonder Shawry ended up with such a mediocre team.

Malthouse’s trade history wasn’t that great either, especially early days. It was either a massive win or massive loss, not much in between.
