Watching the Brownlow

Does anyone know if any pubs are televising the Brownlow? My friend and I want to go to a pub, have a few drinks, and enjoy the night bitching about the women's dresses, the umpire's voting, Wayne Jackson's pronuciation...

Our only option at the moment is going to the Casino to watch it on the big screen - anyone got any better ideas???

I've never been there to watch the football. Its normally quiet after work, which is fantastic if you're after a quiet one.

They have the English Football there on the weekends (hence the name, Keepers Arms) and the place gets jumping with Aussie, Brit backpackers and Brit Ex-pats.

Not a bad little place, but pubs are open to personal preference.

Got the best idea for you Kristen5. Get really dressed up, go to the Casino, wait for the players to arrive. When you see your fav Bucks arrive, go the hip and shoulder on his partner!! Problem solved. You can watch the Brownlow from the inside!!!!

Good idea, Borogirl! But I wouldn't even be that choosy - any player would do, just so I could get pole viewing position at the Brownlow!!! Of course, being with Nath would be a huge added bonus!!!

Borogirl, did you notice that Joel Bowden did appear to be dateless??? Yet another missed opportunity...

We went to the casino and saw that Scott West was also dateless - any surprise in that??? Also, we received a pass to the Brownlow afterparty - but felt we were too underdressed (that's underdressed, not undressed like Buckley's girlfriend).
