100 for Devine off 60 balls . She is the most inform T20 cricketer in the world right now.

Brunt easily, not even close for me. She’s just not allowed to bowl over here, you can make a case for a few others though

WBBL will be considered a 3rd rate competition (behind Hundred and WPL) if we dont get all DRS reviews for all games. This wasnt LBW

Non fussed with DRS but whatever technology is available it should be available

I dont think the umpires in the Brisbane v Perth game (Game 31) were all that good tonight overall.

Riki Wessels and Stephen Dionysius are their names

They have had a very average season. I’m not sure who made the comment but one of the commentators had an idea I thought was very good and that was to appoint the BEST umpires for the games without DRS.

To be honest its the first time I have heard of these umpires, Ill definitely be keeping eye out for them in future.

Was more in general there’s been way too many shocking calls. The Harris lbw would have missed the stumps by a foot! That’s not marginal that’s a complete howler

We need DRS mate. This is a major global franchise comp for the women. I understand we have so many more grounds for the women as well, so cost will be a thing. I mean there wouldnt be much purpose having DRS for 1 game at Ringwood, and DRS for 1 game at say Harrup Park (up in North QLD). The cost to setup DRS is quite costly (from what I have heard).

My idea is maybe let the 3rd umpire review it, even if they dont have : Ultra edge, snicko or ball trajectories. Go back to common sense , on first inspection or maybe have a panel of 3 umpires decide for the LBWs. If it was a male match- there would have been huge uproar.

The Grace Harris decision meant the game pretty much there.

I also think as a Perth fan, Brisbane had the raw end of the decisions from the umpires tonight.

And for guys that didnt watch the game, one of the commentators at the time, said she reckon on first inspection, it was going down leg.

If your a professional umpire and you cant detect that potentially is going down leg- you should be stood down and sent back to low tier cricket.

Im not an umpire basher by any means but we have seen it happen with that AFL goal umpire who got dropped for the Adelaide v Swans howler.

Use the technology that’s available at the ground if that’s just the pure replay then that’s fine or DRS. We’ve seen stumpings given and not given that we’re howlers too

Interesting to note the refectionary store not open today at North Sydney Oval. I had a pie there in one of the games.

I arrived home from work, turned on the Tele and the Stars were 1/42 with Meg looking comfortable, since then I’ve seen five wickets and the most inept team fall away.
