Hardly (IMO) - see Jaxon Crabb, Derek Hall, Glen Bartlett, Ian Dargie, David Antonowicz... were far worse then Stevan.

He actually at one stage looked like a really promising CHF. Does anybody know why he got traded, I think it was to Richmond?

There was an interview with him in the Sunday times earlier this year. From memory it was a fall-out with the coach (MM).

I guess Lazy footballer + Malthouse as coach do not equal a long and lasting relationship.

The ones you mentioned were hardly bit players.

Jackson was a player who if on song would have been in the 22 each week. His talent was not bad, but his attitude sucked. It was no great loss when he went to Richmond. He became a waste of space there also.

Laziness, bad attitude, and preference to play the man and not the ball were the elements that contributed to his downfall. No coach would tolerate that.

Maybe because of the biting, spitting, eye gouging etc.

Jakovich best WCE player, particularly before he did his knee.

The thread is titled "WCE best player ever?" Doesnt say anthing about fairest and best player ever. Lewis' skills were unrivalled in his prime.

It is a hard decision, but it would be between Matera, Jakovich and McKenna at the moment.

Lewis sure was something and his 1990 season was nothing short of brilliant, sure he created the occasional misdemenour so what, all players do at some stage. Lewis was a fave eagle of mine and I wish he could of played on instead of retiring but he had his reasons and is living an amazing lifestyle up Darwin ways
