Allright, looks like we have to get the team back and organised. I'll put my name down for a pure batsman.

Meanwhile, because of a recent Fremantle supporter leaving our team (no, not Esperito), we will need a new pace bowler. I noticed Buzz likes his cricket, you up for it mate?

We need a replacement for Basic as well cause he's not really frequent enough here to count.

Last of all, we need a new vice-captain since FKA left us. I'll put my hand up if no one else does but I'd prefer someone else to do it. D4E's?

Thats all for now anyway...

Nah, might not have the time this year. My parents are disconnecting one phoneline so my net use will be fairly limited. Not to mention Uni, work, social life and sports will really tighten my schedule.

If you run for the VC Vis, i'll vote for ya;)
 
Can I still be the all rounder in the side Jod?

If we need a new VC, I like to see Vis or Frodo as VC...

None of this co-vc crap like they have with the footy....

Well i think all we need is a new keeper to move in for Basic who isnt frequent enough....and a replacement for the traitor. A new VC will have to be voted upon...i suggest Frodes as a candidate aswell as previous Captain Vis.

Then if anybody wants to change position just let me know...right now we have.

Goldenblue - batsmen (not pure, we need two nonpure players per game, technically your an allrounder but they dont actually have a section for you so you will just be a non pure batsmen who comes in down the order and does a bit of bowling too)

Geez, i almost had a heart attack when i read that (well, not really ;)). I will have time to visit BigFooty and participate in the league, its just that as a VC i would need to be ready to step in incase you were away, and i cannot guarantee that at this point in time.

But I'm definately available to play for the WCW....unlike some people i know.

Sorry. But with the website and the five different boards I post on, I think I already spend too much time on the net.

Might cut the fingernails, shave the beard, run a comb through my hair and step back out into the real world. ;)

Plus, I'm going to get the sack if I spend anymore time posting instead of doing some actual work. :)

Cmon ppl....we still need confirmation from a lot of our bowlers and WA is the last of our batsmen i think.....CarnEagles isnt frequent enough so he's out so our two top pace spots are up for grabs.....if you served us last season and wanna change to a strike bowlers position you will get first preference but if everyone is happy with there positions then we will need new blood!
 
Put me down as a pure left handed batsmen please.

And Buzz, you don't need to spend much time at all with fantasy cricket. You just have to check another thread for the score and thats pretty much it.

Visro - Pure left handed batsmen
Iceman - pure batsmen (awaiting left or right)
D4E's - Pure batsmen (awaiting left or right)
Goldenblue - Batsmen (awaiting left or right)
MrEagle - Pure left arm fast Bowler

Vis - is Carneagles your other identity?? He is never around and i would rather give the spot to someone who contributes to the West Coast board and BigFooty.

Oh and Frodo has PM'ed expressing his wish for the Vice Captaincy, i have no problem with it, does he have everyone support or would another candidate like to come forward and we will have a vote?

From last years squad these peole are yet to confirm there continuance with the team.....WA, Esperito, Frodo, GoEagles, OneEye......Basic and Carneagles are out because of them never being around unless Vis can say otherwise on Carneagles..EKA is a traitor and the rest from last season have already signed on.

Frodo has my support, quite frankly anyone who wants the VC has my support :D

Buzz said he might be interested in joining in, he just needs someone to explain the rules to him.

I committed to the team weeks ago, when Jod started the thread suggesting there was a 'traitor' about.

Of course I'm in Jod.......the traitor is turning into a troll.

I am certainly not carneagles. Why would I make another alias? I just remember him visiting quite regularly during the season and when the season returns, so will he probably.

Yep, Frodo gets my vote.

We have plenty of time for people to confirm.

And last of all to Buzz who asked how to play. You just say what type of player you want to be (numbers withstanding) and watch your persona play. Requires jack-all skill and you only have to check a thread for the match results.

jod - you asked me this weeks ago & I said yes I'd be staying (we have a title to defend :D) and to keep me as the same type of player etc etc.:confused:

I just hope that eka's defection isn't going to end up with all those attention seeking rubbish threads & posts like we saw in the fantasty footy a couple of months ago.

jod - last year sometime I actually started to think that carneagles was an 'alter ego' of another poster, but for the life of me I cannot remember who I thought it was. Oh well..
 
Well I sure as hell ain't carneagles. I hate people that appear under different aliases so why the hell would I have one of my own? Its not like we were short of players last season so that I had to go and create someone else is it? Hmpphhh!! :mad: :eek:

i was just pointing out to jod that i was guessing if you wanted to be vc, then you also wanted to play.
