Yes, Collingwood get up tomorrow and it will be like good ole times with the big 3 Melbourne powerhouses.

The scary thing for me was we should have won by a conservative 7 goals. Geez we missed some chances. If Waitey ever learns to kick straight.....

Everyone at work laughed when I said the Blues will be there abouts this year for the 8. You will be in for a better season that what many think.
Any team that has Stevens, Whitnall, Fev, Lappin, Waite, Kouta in their side and youngsters such as Murphy, Walker, Simpson and Pagan coaching they will be therebouts IMHO.

Murphy looked great and Walker is coming on nicely. Well done.

Thanks Nesian, even though we are bitter rivals I think it is fair to say that both supporter groups enjoy the footy more when the Blues and Maggies as up the top end of the ladder. Good luck to your boys tomorrow. Here's to some great clashes ahead!

I didn't actually tip us this week. There's money involved in my tipping comp.....

I'm not so sure about Melbourne this year, but they usually are good starters to a new season. Just thought no matter what we threw at them, they would be able to find the an answer. To our credit, I don't think we could've pulled out a better performance so early in the season. It was argueably our best four quarters game since 2001. I could've have asked for more.

Great start to the season and let's hope it gives the team some much needed confidence. All of our senior players had good games, with Lappin, Stevens, and Whitnall the pick of the bunch.

Good to see Kade Simpson continue on from last year and impresses me more and more everytime I see him.

All in all, a great team performance and one we can build on in the coming weeks. A big test this week against Fremantle, but given the way they played against Hawthorn, we have to be a chance.

A fantastic win overall, all players played 100% (maybe excluding Deluca) Fevola looks fit, Whitnall is in great form, Waite has took the next step in becoming a dominate forward and Kade Simpson looks set to be a handy midfielder.

It was great to hear the Navy Blues theme song after so long, i was actually singing with the boys after the game, as i am a Crows supporter, it was great to see the Blues win
