I'd honestly prefer to see us finish 6th than 5th. This way we'd most likely avoid the Kanga's in a semi. For this to work of course we'd need the Hawks to beat the Bulldogs in the qualifying final so we can have a shot at them in the semi. Would much rather play the Dogs than the Hawks, Roos or Cats in a semi. I think we can cover all of the Saint, Swans and Adelaide in our elimination final. Assuming these results pan out properly We'd have Dogs (and beat them in a Semi:p) and the Kanga's would beat whoever they came up against in the semi. This sets up another prelim final against the Cats whilst the Hawks will play the Kangaroos. Bye Bye Dawks.

We lost to the Kangaroos first time because of the stupid umpires and the second time because half of our team were drunk.
It is no coincidence that we are playing better since Heath and Didak got busted. All the other party boys have been put on notice.
We were flogging North in the second game as well and they ran over the top of us in the second half. Most likely because the party boys had no stamina. Drinking does affect performance.
We would still have beaten North if Malthouse played Dawes in that game. It would have released Travis Cloke. Against North he always had at least 2 guys on him. If there was another tall one would have had to go on Dawes.
We have a much better structure with a second tall in the forward line.
Previously if we went through Cloke they had him covered with 2 players.
Cloke also dominated against Geelong because Rocca took Scarlett away from the contest. :thumbsu:
That is why a second power forward is important.
With the current forward structure, we would trouble anyone including Geelong. Some might laugh at this because they might not rate Dawes.
It does not have to be Dawes. If Rocca was available, we would be even more dangerous. ;)
However, I believe that the inclusion of Dawes has made our forward line more dangerous because Travis is dominating and our crumbers have been getting opportunities. A guy like Dawes does not have to take every mark kicked to him. It is enough to provide a contest and get the ball to ground and let the small guys like Leon get the crumbs. :thumbsu:
