Drove the car today to work sadly and had to listen to Stutter and Bitter on the radio. It was mentioned that Vlad the Impaler was in town tomorrow for a meeting with the Crows heirarchy, some kind of semi-annual meet and greet shmoozefest where Vlad strolls into town. Kind of like this...

VLAD: I must visit my loyal subjects, and allow them to demonstrate their fealty! Who have I not visited for a millenia?

Why was Adelaide the most screwed when it came to player losses to the new franchises? who did Collingwood, Richmond, Essendon & Carlton lose to them?.

When Adelaide was being utterly smashed for "third party deals" why were the other clubs not investigated? It is blatently obvious that other clubs are operating under the same circumstances.

Why are you providing further handouts to Port Power to allow them to secure a $500k P.A fitness coach?

Oh and also allowing contracted players to carry on like free agents and waltz off to the reigning premier, despite the fact that every other premiership winning club over the last 2 decades has lost players due to salary cap restraints?

Sorry mate but don't agree. Harps still knew about the deal (or at least should have known given his position) and condoned and encouraged the so-called "cover-up".

Guilty as charged and got off lightly IMO (as did the others who should have all fallen on their sword)!

As another poster said the AFC is currently leaderless and rudderless - bloody embarrassing stuff for a twenty plus year club. GWS and GC are better run!

As much as I hate the man, I hope Vlad puts a rocket up the AFC management. Is anyone responsible for our brand management atm?

Seriously though We've been shit on relentlessly. Anything the AFL could do to ease the woes of our last 6 months would be greatly appreciated. I'd say there's 0% chance of this though. The AFL is only interested in helping basketcases like Melbourne and the Sydney clubs.

Oh how thoughtful and warm! Legions of we local Adelaide fans are sighing a collective, relieving sigh across town because we won't have to grapple with forming orienteering groups to plot and map our way to Adelaide, walking through turnstiles with our tickets (I'll accept a hand stamp only), and finding our seats only to be greeted by a swathe of slightly different colour distribution through the gathering crowd. Footballmageddon. Thank god, because now I have time to prepare, the kiosk operators have time to settle their nerves, and the whole ****ing stadium won't collapse on itself from jelly legs and disorientation.

It was looming as a real kerfuffle. Thankfully the Adelaide Football Club - and common sense - has prevailed.
