Phoenix Hargrave, Josh Murphy, Gabriel Stumpf, Floyd Burmeister, Louie Montgomery, and Nathaniel Sulzberger were probably the most stiff to miss out in my opinion. All of them showed enough glimpses to justify an AFL list spot.

Hopefully a few of them get chances in the future.

plenty of train on places

Essendon has two (one to be taken by Jaxon prior I believe as a Delisted Free Agent)

At least Lucas Ravenhill (CL) has been named in the 2025 WA summer squad as an over ager. So he is still in the mix as Aiden Riddle (CL) showed this year when he did ok as an overager and got rookied.

For Clancy Dennis, they must have been nightmares of interviews. Saw a bit of him and thought he was seriously worth considering. But then, not everybody fits into square holes.

Doug Kerr will make his VFL debut for the pies tomorrow night.
Just over 12 months on from his ruptured ACL. Played some games for Oakleigh and SKOB, but I think he is ready for the next level.
15 disposals as 23rd man
Didn't look out of place.
What's his NGA status?

What about the other over-agers?
Where will they fit into this shallow draft?

Sam Toner
Tom Evans
Rod Ali
Floyd Burmeister
Jhett Haeata
Etc

Still NGA Eligible for this year.
Pies were impressed by his first game. I'd suggest he should be kept in the vfl and not go back to oakleigh. Should play again this weekend, and I agree, didn't look out of place. Did some nice things for his first game against men.

Surely Burmeister should be up there in contention. He was looked at by clubs for MSD.
Toner too would be a good option for clubs.
