Guys need to remember this guy was told 4 years ago that he would never be able to walk again and he has only played 20 games or so. This guy has worked so hard to get where he is today and id hate to see essendon trade him after everything essendon has done for him

He's played 5 games this year, averaged 8 possessions and 1 goal a game. That is simply not good enough. We have other options and we need to explore those options to make us a better team.

Give him another preseason, some fine tuning at Bendigo and lets see if he can start putting his hand up next year.

Make or break for Johns 2008.

I do agree that 2008 is his make or break year, but I don't think he's as bad as he's been made out to be. Those figures are pretty good for someone with his experience.

After 32 games, Barry Hall (a similar style player) was averaging 7.2 disposals a game, and 0.5 goals a game. CJ has better figures then that (8.2 disp, and 1 goal), and he's only played 18 games.

While I concede we're not comparing apples with apples, Slattery has played more then twice as many games as CJ this season, and doesn't average as many disposals as CJ. And Bolton is averaging even fewer again, and CJ is a much cleaner disposal then Bolts. Bolts would have to go well before CJ does.
