With the loss of Welsh Perrie looked lost out there today. He seems to like being a roaming forward with Welsh leading out from FF.

Seemed to be trapped in between positions today, and the fact he dropped some sitters didn't help either.

They are both doing their jobs and dont deserve to be dropped. I want to see watts out there aswell, but he will get his chance when the time is right. Trent offers versatility, and Perrie is a strong body who competes hard.

yes perrie stays and trent goes imo. Or plays down back on a wing and someone else goes. We do need a strong body and perrie is it. They had triggy on and he said that watts will be coming in very soon so someone will go. We cant have a forward line of perrie, McGregor, trent and watts.

Really, we shouldnt accept these mediocre players either, brisbane doesnt. Leigh just keeps putting in youngsters until he gets one that he likes and then sticks with them. Someone like Notting for instance would get a whole game with us, but LM puts the youngsters ahead of him cause he wants a better player to fill that role long term.

these 'mediocre' players have been doing the job all year and have got us to where we are now. NC is trying to build some real commaraderie in the side so he isnt going to drop guys who have been part of a winning side. And what you say about brisbane is crap. they only started playing kids because of where they were on the ladder. We have many young players in the side already. Please name these mediocre players. because if you are talking about Hentchell then you are contradicting yourself, as he is one of the young guns that needs to be persisted with because he is the future, with watts, of our forward line.

Twice in the last quarter, The Dispenser had the chance to seal the game for us and twice he missed. His lack of skill could prove costly come finals. But in saying that, he has been good over the last month or so.

His attack on the ball can't be questioned. One of the few we have on our list with a bit of fire in his belly.

the comp is so even, we arent really the second best team in the comp. We need to find a couple of up coming guns for finals time. Our current lot wont do it. The mediocre players who are in the 22 or about the spot atm are doughty, Perrie, begley, McGregor, skippy, biglands and there are probably two that have been missed. Those players are serviceable, but are not guns and we need to fine an extra midfielder and a forward. And they would be stiff to miss due to their workrate, but we have to squeeze the young guys in. The others dont have much improvement in them.

Hentshcel cant be classed as mediocre cause he is young and learning. We should be putting at CHF and let him stand up. Atm, he is not having the presence we need.

Brisbane played youngsters cause LM didnt have confidence in the old guard anymore. We too were down the bottom last yr due to no youngsters being integrated over the last couple of yrs. We have started with mattner, bock and rutten, and a better game plan, but NC has to have the courage to actually play youngsters not just select them on the bench the whole game.
