God, I never knew all the different colours meant something. Black ones were a huge craze when I was in Year 7/8. Everyone always wore two, myself included, and we knew them (only black ones) as 'F*** me bands', not that we (or most of us) ever meant it literally!

I've noticed a lot of the younger kids around here are wearing them now, all colours, boys included. Personally I think they look tacky.
