Au_Blue you clown, other than on this thread maybe, can you tell me where I have put a "subtle boot in"? And it's not like you're never trying to give it to the Dockers. Flick through your old posts and look at how many of them are Docker related, compared to mine which are Eagle related. You would be suprised.

Its far from malicious as in dockerland, but its dull and predictable.

I don't post much on here anymore. I mostly post on the Freo board, then AFL board. Negative connotations? More time on here than any other? Taking this thread out, out of my last 80 or so posts, I've posted on here 5 times. One was my votes for the game, one was about the Eagles theme lyrics and the words in them, one was about key position players, one was about commentators and one was about the Eagles beating the Saints in 2001. Where are the negative connotations?

No-one is persecuting kenny. He's ok - just can be a wet blanket sometimes in the way of constantly finding a way to put a negative spin on anything eagles.

He gets treated a hell of a lot better than anyone who frequents dockerland and is not affected by purple myopia.

So scal - sorry to dissapoint with the abscence of flaming. You know where to go for that, you know you want to.

Interesting to see you put a negative dockerland comment in. I didn't even mention it... Ask carneagles about that place. I'm sure he'll tell you he gets treated ok. Better than Kenny has on this thread, anyhow. But this is off topic...

I'd have to say some of you are being a little harsh on Kenny - his points (as usual) are valid, and his tone is not aggressive. I like Kenny's normal commentary as he brings an even handedness to the board that most of us are incapable of (ie deflating that we should be 9-1) because we are too close to the team.

I'm sure you mostly remember back pocket's reign of abuse on here. That's the sort of Docker fan we don't need. Kenny does not attack us personally or hijack threads, and is generally pretty well behaved around here.

Scal, good to see you're prepared to come back. Sorry you copped it a bit last time you ventured our way - you picked a particularly bad time, and on the whole you don't seem a bad sort.

Thanks. I read what's happening here but tend to avoid posting. If I have something to say I will, such as I have here. And you don't need to say sorry, I copped it, I decided to stay away, and from what I remember, it wasn't yourself that said anything untoward.

After all, these boards are for opinion, and if we didn't have differing opinions, there wouldn't be anything to talk about. I still find it amusing that those that complain about "that other site I frequent" are the ones are exactly the same as those that cause hassle there.

At no stage did i insinuate anything about being robbed of wins or any such thing. The whole point of this thread was to highlight how far we've come from the days of 8 losses in a row, to being unfortunate not to be sitting better than 7-3.

I guess its safer to go with the crowd and never say anything slightly excentric, than have an opinion on this board.

You stated that we should have won the Essendon and Hawks games. Maybe on paper we looked like we should have won both those games, but unfortunately, football is not played on paper, it's played on grass, and we were not the better teams on the day.

If we "should have" won by 5 goals against Hawthorn, we would have won by 5 goals. But we lost by 2 points, because the way we played, we deserved to lose by 2 points.

It's different to Dockers who were finished by half time and 3/4 time at the latest in all 4 of their losses.

So with some luck (whatever u wanna call it) we could be 10 -1.

It's pretty rich for Freo to argue they could also be 10-1 when they've taken 10 goal thrashings and a 5 goal loss to us on their own home ground.

2 or 3 of your wins weren't decided until the last 5 minutes either. You can't win every game you have a chance in. Every game we've won we've been in control of. Anyway, I said we should be 7-4, not 10-1.

But I tell you what if he didnt come over and annoy you for awhile youd sure miss him!! Kenny is ok, misguided in his love for those Violets but he is ok!!! Sure he just talks negatives about the Eagles and can never say a good word about them but remember that he's an Violet fan and really untill the Pansies play finals (they may do this season but I think I'll wait and see before I go posting any silly stuff for once) Kenny really has nothing good to say so he comes here because he is jealous of our club.
