Webmail and Outlook

Basically I have 2 main emails accounts I use, one personal and one for uni. Yahoo is my personal one and I know I can just pay like $15 and I can use it in outlook (no other way), but does anybody know how to get my uni email into as it is a webmail. I've tried it before and its tricky as all hell and no where near as simple as a different types of email services

Find out what type they use. If it's pop3 then any client, Outlook, thunderbird etc will work.

Yeah unfortunately its not quite that simple. I've asked the IT staff at University and they aren't sure how to do it. Has anyone else gotten a Webmail into outlook?

yeah plenty of webmails go into outlook but it does depend what the use. The IT staff wouldn't have any idea as they probably never deal with it.

Ask the mail team, surely there is a helpdesk.

Absolutely certain it's a different setup, but the utas' webmail is really simple to setup through a client VPN. http://www.utas.edu.au/itr/vpn/

I'm sure there'd be something similar for your uni.
