We will most likely have a very early finals exit (again) but it's a shame that if North (0-2) and Hawthorn (0-1) reversed their fortunes against the 8th placed club their seasons would still be going. :) Great to see you're so interested in Essendon making the finals though as 3 of your posts in this thread (out of 8 in total) have been discussing it. No complex or anything though.
Only interested in Essendon making finals for the inevitable crash and burn. Don't want the streak the end.

After last night can you blame us for not being confident? I'd be worried about Essendon at home even with NN. Optus isn't that much of a fortress. I'd only be confident playing GWS but that won't happen.
They've barely scraped into 8th and are traveling for an interstate final against last years premiers who are in better shape this year. The last time that happened they lost by 100 points. They could start now and you'll still win.

Eagles by 72 v Bombers. 61,000.

Magpies by 21 v Cats. 93,000.

Giants by 26 v Bulldogs. 19,000.

Lions by 1 v Tigers. 37,000.

On paper we should be strong favourites but just hard to trust this team this year.

Lol Giants. You only flogged them at their ground 2 weeks ago by 10 goals!

Will be a different team composition that turns up for the EF. Cameron didnt play, was back last week, plus its likely that Cogs, Whitfield, Green, Lids and Haynes will all be available. Expecting Cameron to be a real headache for our backline

Coniglio and Cameron the only 2 who didn't play... the others did

Coniglio won't be match fit IF he plays. Greene under a bit of a cloud

Essendon will get an armchair ride from the umpires and shock West Coast by 7 points.

Collingwood to beat Geelong at the G by 11 Points

Lions at home to beat Tigers by 21 points.

GWS over Bullgogs by 26 points

WCE to beat Essendon full house, 45 points

Geelong v Collingwood, 89,000, Geelong to get the win after Scott, after 8 years has, since the mid season bye, actually tried to do something different. Geelong by 24 points.

GWS v Footscray, full house, Dogs by 36 points.

Brisbane v Richmond, full house, I think Brisbane gave a good account of themselves yesterday, it will do them the world of good. They'll squeak home by a couple of goals.

West Coast by 4 (After ET): 58,487
Geelong by 27: 94,589
GWS by 31: 17,585
Richmond by 14: 37,048
