Nah, they will have a huge Victorian audience and a semi decent Sydney audience watching. Perth and Adelaide will also watch any AFL game and swans and Essendon have a pretty decent following in Brisbane.

Exactly. Geelong isn't that far but timing will be extremely tight after work finishes and 100k trying to get to the game.
Cats should be saved from Friday night games at the mcg. There's no reason to limit crowds in that way.
More people can make a Saturday game then a Friday game. AFL will want to put the QF Saturday arvo.
Gee whiz if we can't make a the grand final with this set up we have failed. Basing it on form we should make it, prime position atm but obviously upsets happen.
But Channel 7 would go the other way. That's the issue.
