Gee, he was impressive tonight! Just look at his stats:
5 goals, 4 behinds (9 shots on goal!)
16 marks! (the equal highest he has ever taken!)
7 contested marks
20 possessions
7 inside 50s (the most from both teams)

He's back! After all the crap that he has taken the last few weeks, to put on a performance like that was sensational! Forget all the BS about his contract status (posts about this in this thread will be met with a virtual middle finger from me!) and get around him!

The big story out of this is that he celebrated his goals.

He did. And teammates rushed to him after his first 2 goals. I wonder if this was spoken of in team meetings??? But Trav's body language was great for the first time in a long time. Big plus. The downer is that we just don't seem to be able to get 10+ goal scorers like we did in 2010/11. We are struggling to kick a winning score, the last 5 mins of this game flattered us a little.

Back to Trav, here's hoping he carries that form into next week. I'll never forget his performance in the last quarter of last year's prelim.

So relieved for him. Looked like he has resolved his future, relaxed, ran on top of the ground. Come on son! Give it everything

Don't make me send a virtual middle finger your way!:p

Whatever happens, happens. He's with us for now, so send as much love as possible his way! It could be the difference between winning or losing a premiership! I'm not convinced he's leaving anyway. It's side by side! Don't forget that!

Now, as I said, this thread is not for contract discussion. Love you Clokey!:hearts:

Signed.

What impressed me the most wasn't the bag, it was that he clunked everything coming in his direction. They moved Hurley onto him in the second half and while Cloke wasn't shoving him around like a ragdoll and get separation as often, he won pretty much every contest.

I really hope he carries this into the finals. We might just cause an upset next week if we learn how to kick straight (both in the field and at goal).

He was outstanding tonight. Looked to enjoy the freedom of not having Dawes clogging up space. Young Paine showed a bit tonight - nice clean hands. Did he do enough to keep Dawes out?

Here's a pic from tonight, notice the boots;

Nice flouro green tinge.

Oh, and 16 marks, with 7 contested, he was back in a big way tonight.
