Welcome back Fish!!!!

Carlton are still have nightmares from the 1993 Grand Final when you killed the, kicking 5!

I'd prefer to see Fish play forward & keep Hille on the ball, I don't think fish could handle running from one end of the ground to the other, I also had a weird dream last night that Fish kicked 12 goals. I hope it was a premonition, Good Luck Fish. :D

The Fish? Get rid of him, what did he do tonight? Did he get off the bench?

0 kicks
0 handballs
0 possessions
0 hit outs
0 tackles
0 frees for
0 frees against
0 goals
0 behinds

what a useless pickup! i take these figures direct from our magnificent internet bastion of all things football, afl.com.au.

And we all know how good the website is ...

i was very happy with salmon's game, enough to brag about i'd say. alessio .... now that's another story altogether.

Very good first up game for the Fish.

Cant say I expected him to play that well.

Alessio must be getting nervous now! lol

He did get a few stats, but nothing to brag about.
Mantis, you don`t like him,and that`s your opinion and that is fine.To appreciate Paul salmon you have to watch him closely,he knows where to run, where to block, where to stand, the lot.He is a very smart footballer, something stats do not show.
It`s simple really,if his body holds up he will be absolutely magical for Essendon, but that is the problem, his body.I love the big man, defended him to the death in his first stint at Essendon in the face of some fierce criticism from a heap of our own supporters,he`s home now,and i love it.

Superb comeback from the big fella. Wonder how many of those 'supporters' who booed him off back in '95 were cheering him last night.....hmmmm.......well played Fish.

where's wally?

Exactly John. I was specifically watching him off the ball, standing a kick behind the play. He knows the percentage spots and you mark my words, there'll be a few tight games this year when Fish takes some game saving marks and i can't bloody wait! Like you John, i am rapt he's back and was ecstatic with the reception and support he received from our supporters. I can thoroughly recommend Fish's book, BTW, a very interesting read.
