thought he was close to BOG, big man with a big heart

result didn't matter ******** to me, but good on port, this'll be the highlight of their year...

Like i said else where result meant SWEET FA

but wasnt it good to see Ben Hudson back fingers crossed for him

Was good to see him take Doughty's mantle as the new youngster in the side.

Will only improve with more matches under his belt too - how we've missed his all-round game in the pivotal battles with Cox and Seaby.

His presence will certainly see us compete more of an a even keel in this department in future.

Can only support what the others have said about Huddo. :thumbsu:

If only we could clone his heart!!

Jericho would be scheduled first in line .............

You've got to love him. Just his competitive attitude and willingness to do the dirty work. He will be a MUCH needed boost to our midfield not just in actual ruckwork but more so with his clearence work and 1%ers.

My favourite moment of the night was when Chad Cornes bounced off him after trying to rough him up a little.
A whole bunch of the Port boys were giving Huddo a bit of treatment, but he was giving it right back, as you'd expect from him.

Agree with every post.

He got better as the night wore on.

His mark in the last quarter nearly won the game for us.

He just now needs some support.

Obviously for a while it will come from Evian and Griffo.

Good on ya son!!!!!!

I also thought too that he had his old confidence back, looks like he has faith in his knee holding up which is the major obstacle when coming back from a knee injury.

I agree that tonight Huddo showed more in one game than what I saw combined between Biglands and Clarke last year.

Definately one of our best rags to riches tale in the history of the club.

this is a major major point....

absolutely no sign of favouring .......tentativeness........uncertainty.........perhaps his Physio background gives him the mental confidence to trust the surgery and rehab....and understand that there's no physical reason why it's not as good as new

Is there anyone at the club who could have fewer detractors? I have never heard a bad word about any facet of Huddo's game or personality.

I love the way Huddo approaches every contest with vigour. The bloke always gives a second and if required third effort. You just gotta love that about the bloke, he never gives up.

I think in part this was due to him staying at North and not being rushed back. He could move at his own pace and get confidence in the knee without having to go breakneck AFL speed. ( apologies to those who see SANFL as better/faster)

This then gave him a good stepping stone for a good pre-season

Kudos to the Crows management :thumbsu:

Neither have I. Sometimes I wonder if those who are given everything forget how hard they have to work, whereas someone like Hudson who evolved form basically a park footballer knows what it takes to be better
