I knew Collingwood were playing the Roos first round, but how do you know when Pies vs Freo is??

no i'm saying that his first game for Collingwood next season will also be his 100th game in the AFL. I was wondering if they'd do the usual things of letting him toss the coin, leading the team out, putting him on the banner etc. as it'd seem a bit strange.

yehh it would be strange but interesting call to be made. I'd be guessing on the banner they'd have a congrats on 100 games as well as a debut message- something along those lines anyway. I don't think he'll be tossing the coin but i guess if we put him on the banner then he will have to lead the team out wont he????

we have an awesome record of transforming freo players into total superstars - jimmy and brodie. I think medhurst is a bonus to pick 8 although i'm a little depressed at losing Taz but its done now and we will go into draft on nov25 loaded up. It'll be even better when we can rotate medders, didak and leon through the middle and maybe didak can spend more time in their now. Although i wanted something more i still think medhurst will be a good player for us just have the faith.

P.S. By the way did anyone else see Taz in the purple dockers shirt on the news????? lmao funniest thing ive seen- cant believe he looks like a total clown (nothing against him as i rate him but looks awkward and seems he doesnt want to be there).

I agree. He seemed very uncomfortable. I think he probably feels a touch of regret at the way it all panned out. That'll pass, he get's to play with his mate Solly now after all.

In this article it says - "Paul is happy to come (to Collingwood) and he is excited about the opportunity and hopefully it all goes well for him."

I'm sad because Tazza lives a couple of blocks from me. But I'm happy for him, a new challenge is what he needed, and maybe we just needed to cut our losses.

As for Medhurst, well I'm not expecting much. He could be anything.

The brilliant thing about this deal is we have two top ten picks in this so called super draft. If these kids are as good as everyone says they are, we are in for a bright future.
