Despite my earlier attempt at a Batman joke (Joker - Riddler). I wish the kid well. Seems to have some good attributes . Would love him to become a real player for us.

I am very happy to draft Riddle. Will prob add a couple more cms to his height and it seems his ruck craft and marking is quite ok.

Could Riddle be the missing piece of the puzzle?

I was at the Claremont Colts B&F and can definitely say that the other boys absolutely love him. He's got a huge frame to grow into too. I'm really happy with this pick.

Same. I reckon this kid is a deadset goer. He was the ruckman all the colts rucks measured themselves against. His taps to advantage were insane. Actually to advantage and a genuine measure of his game sense and athleticism.

He reads the ball in flight really well and always looks like marking it.

He’s a bit short at 2 metres to be a first ruck but he’s got a great frame to put meat on and is genuinely athletic so look the absolute **** out.

I’m excited.

It’s normally Melbourne or the Weavils drafting Freo supporters.

This guy looks great but is a little small for a modern day ruckman at 199 cm. The only way to be a successful small ruckman is to be really athletic but we already have Jackson on the list. We saw what happened to Jackson this year when going up against the bigger ruckman in the comp and the same will happen to Riddle. Hopefully he has a growth spurt.

If he has the bulk on him to contest a mark then he isn't really cover for the ruck, he's cover for the ruck/fwd who moves into ruck if our first choice isn't available.
