I watched all of his games this year. TBH, came across as lazy to me, so not surprised at SYL's comment.
Clearly has talent, but its going to be a tough side to get into next year.
Body Ryan and Mraz are the two that I really think are going to get opportunities this year, I'd be confident that the brains trust see Ryan ahead of CJ, hence the trade.

I watched a fair few BHH games (online) and from what I could see Bodie looked pretty dominant most games. Reckon he would've really been pushing for a debut if he didn't get hurt.

I'll be shocked if this guy doesn't debut in the next 6 weeks.

We simply have to start incrementally getting players like McCabe exposure so that they're ready to go if needed in bigger games.

Playing like he's too good for VFL in a mix of wing and half forward. Has bulked up and moves so well at his size.

No question they're going to want to see him at AFL level very soon. My guess is v Port.

If Chol were to miss, surely not?, he'd probably be the inclusion.

Very exciting to think of the potential combination with Weddle. Let's not forget he was a first Rd pick and basically lost his first season with us due to injury.

He and Anderson look like totally different players from last year, credit to both form what must have been huge off-seasons for them.

McCabe looked scary good for three quarters, switched off in the last though (as did most of the team)

You simply can’t have a guy like this playing Box Hill - it’s wasting everyone’s time - his - the clubs - the coaches - the fans - climate change - everyone.

I was thinking earlier this week that 2 Wills will make us right - Will McCabe and Will Day - absolute weapons.

Sammy for the love of all things vegetarian - just play the kid - his improvement at the top level after 20 or so games and confidence that he belongs will be off the charts.

Err... Have people forgotten that we used pick 16 on him? He's a first rounder and was bidded on that high for a good reason. His only had two pre seasons and is unusually tall for a player with his profile. The wait will be worth it . Hopefully the other two first rounders become gun AFL players as well. We have 9 firsts on our list and hopefully they all become serious players for us. Gotta keep up with the high end talent of the lions and Sun's somehow.

What’s scary is he is nowhere near the finished product - yet his game today was AFL+ standard. He doubles down next week an he’ll be debuting Easter Monday.

With 50 AFL games under his belt he’ll be a bonafide star - the club knows this - and so do his team mates. He just needs the exposure bcos I’m sensing he’s starting to believe it as-well.

We need his signature on a contract pronto.
