Looks like he has elite vision and can drop the ball on a 50 cent piece. Something to work with for sure.

Our link up play is abysmal so it looks like we are starting to assemble players with the skill and running power to transition the ball.

Go well Tylah!

Tylah and Willem will be tripping people up for years. On keyboard as well as the football field.
Quick feet is a theme for the Mini era, isn't it? Whether it delivers us another flag or not it's a welcome change from slow possession footy. From his footage this year, I reckon Williams doesn't yet fully know just how well he'll eventually be able to get around a tackler.

Everyone we've brought in looks like an actual footballer as well. They'll all have their flaws of course but they all bring something different to the table beyond their athleticism.

I dont know anything about this kid, but after 20 seconds he seems to scream makings of Shai Bolton or am I way off?

Good observation , He tested really well in the agiltiy test which is a good sign of his swervability to change direction at pace get around tacklers ..Will provide a few highlights fro sure ..

One kicked 37.23 in their top age year and the other kicked 5.7
A lot of over rating and expectation of Williams because of his genuinely elite combine results. Has talent to burn and a higher ceiling than many give him credit for but he is still small, gets pushed off the football easily and whilst small forwards can and often do make an impact early, he'll need time to develop his size, tank and forward craft. Any games next year would be a bonus but without heavy competition for that role hopefully he surprises. Does have the potential to be one of the best small forwards in the competition.

Seemed like the club decided pretty early that they'd match any bid on him, with him confirming there was no mystery at all that we were gonna pick him out of all the NGA's and the only way the others would end up on our list was as rookies.

Spoke well. Oozes confidence, surprizingly. Looking forward to his razzle dazzle.

I was probably a bit annoyed on draft night to comment too much on Tylah - but now the dust has settled i am quite happy having him at the club.

He’s got a lovely left foot kick - and seems like he uses his pace and agility on field which passes the eye test against his combine results. Might take a couple of years to get his body up to full time AFL but it is pleasing we are prioritising skills and pace.

Us not taking Evans or Walley may also have a positive impact on his footy too. Ie: just because you’re from our acadamy doesn’t mean you’ll get a free ride.

I think we believed Tylah would get a bid in the 20’s and so when we got to 29 with no bid it changed our thinking a bit and we took Allen instead. We would have ended up with enough points for Banfield I think if that had had happened.

There were rumours floating he might have gotten a bid as high as GWS at 12 so I suspect we predicted he wouldn’t have made it as far as he did without a bid.

For a kid who’s slightly built he’s certainly not afraid of contact. At a glance at him and him family it looks like he’ll be able to put some meat on the bones, which will assist with the contested side of things.

Does anyone know what his 2km number was? I vaguely recall hearing he had good GPS numbers which spiked the interest of clubs.
