I am not sure anyone can read too much into today's performance.

Maybe not on a long term basis as that starts next week.

But it was a pleasant change to see all that run generated from the backlines through Reilly, Torney etc and the amount of attack through the middle of the ground.

Basic common sense football. Something we rarely saw under Gary Ayres.

I think the game plan we can make some observations about but even then every game plan looked good when you win by 70+ points. Hell we looked sensational against Hawks and we all know how crap our game plan was under Ayres this year.

So far so good. Big test starts against Sydney when the emotion of the last couple of weeks dies down a bit.

Rielly was a revelation today.

Even Mattner starred...

Enjoy your week

Thanks BT.

Would still prefer to be in MFC's (premiership table) position & looks like some exciting young Dees talent coming through for future years. Reckon you could do with a quality full-back - how's Ferguson coming along?

Well BT, at 1/4 time it was 8 scoring shots to 7, and you had missed some gettables esp Vardy, and it seemed that most breaks went our way. So you were well in it - think you hit the post a couple of times as well in the 1st 1/2 - but after we took over more completely in the 2nd 1/4 you were too far behind. There was a bit if a surge from you in the 3rd but you coulndnt quite go on with it and we had our tails up.

Hit the post twice in the 3rd term as well, we did have a crack for a good 15 minutes or so. The double 50 was the sign for me. A clear signal that we were into personal little battles at the expence of the team. I thought the kicking for goal was the main difference in the first quarter & a half.

Adelaide frustrated us, we can have no complaints.

Cheers guys & good luck.
